Thin wall plastic mould is the product
thickness less than 1mm part, when customer have thinwall mould, they need to
know how to maintain thin wall plastic molds. as the main points to maintain
thin wall mould is very important to keep long life plastic mould. We offer the
thin wall molds maintain troubleshoot as my definition.
1. There must have mould care card, It is for detailed record and statistics
record use situation, maintenance times (lubrication, clean,rust-proof) and
damage condition.according to these information can find and solve mould
problems. Maintain thin wall plastic molds begin from daily record.
2. How to maintain thin wall plastic molds ? we can see from the
standard thin wall part size, so when the mould running with machine in the
normal situation, measure the final part size, so that can find core, cavity, cooling
system and parting surface damage, it can take immediately maintenance.
3. Thin wall plastic mold need thin thickness, so each mould part
should connect well, we suggest following some important mould parts to check
frequently. Like ejection system and guild pin, which are make sure the mould
can smoothly open and close, also one of them damage will cause the whole mouls
top running,so should often keep ejection system and guild pin lubricant.Once
find,should do another one for replacing.
4. During whole day production,the cooling channel easily form
incrustation, rusting, slush ,alga etc.It make the cooling way size become
small ,not good for mould cooling.The same as hot runner ,we should often clean
and make record.
5. Thin wall plastic molds normal electronics or disposable
containers.So the mould surface maintenance is very important.We can use copper
rod or copper wire or professional mould cleaner to clean waste material and
make mould dry.DO NOW USE iron wire,steel rod very harden piece to clean,it
will scratch surface.
Good plastic mould not means keep always long life,customer should
know how to maintain thin wall plastic mold,then the mould will be what you
want.
